BALTIMORE, Md. — Police are investigating a fatal shooting that claimed the life of an unidentified man Monday afternoon in the city’s Western District.

Officers responded to the 1200 block of West North Avenue at approximately 12:49 p.m. on December 16 following reports of a shooting. Upon arrival, they found the victim suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.

The man was transported to a nearby hospital, where he was pronounced dead by medical staff. Authorities have not yet identified the victim or released further details about the circumstances of the shooting.
