WASHINGTON, D.C. — A workplace argument in Northwest D.C. escalated into a criminal charge after a man allegedly pointed a handgun at his coworker during the altercation.
The incident occurred Sunday afternoon around 2:56 p.m. in the 1800 block of Wisconsin Avenue, Northwest. The victim told police that an argument with a coworker turned threatening when the suspect pulled out a firearm and aimed it at him.
Responding officers from the Second District quickly located the suspect at the scene and took him into custody. Police identified the suspect as 34-year-old Parris Davis, who has no fixed address.
Davis was arrested and charged with assault with a dangerous weapon. No injuries were reported during the incident.
