Double shooting in Southwest Baltimore leaves one dead, another hospitalized

BALTIMORE, Md. — A double shooting in Southwest Baltimore on Monday evening left one man dead and another hospitalized, police said.

Officers responded to multiple shot-spotter alerts in the 1200 block of West Baltimore Street at approximately 6:08 p.m. on December 16. Upon arrival, they discovered two victims suffering from gunshot wounds.

A 44-year-old male victim, who had sustained multiple gunshot wounds, was transported to an area hospital, where he was pronounced dead. A 45-year-old male victim, also suffering from multiple gunshot wounds, was taken to a hospital and is listed in stable condition.
