Man slashed, robbed at Sutphin Boulevard train station

QUEENS, N.Y. — A 42-year-old man was attacked and robbed at the Sutphin Boulevard train station in Jamaica on Thursday afternoon, police said.

At approximately 2:10 p.m., two unidentified individuals approached the man, punched him in the head, and slashed his face multiple times with a knife, according to the NYPD. The attackers then took the victim’s belongings before fleeing the scene.

Emergency medical services responded and transported the victim to Jamaica Hospital Medical Center, where he was treated for his injuries and listed in stable condition.
