Manassas Man Charged After Locking Woman in Room During Domestic Incident

MANASSAS, VA – A domestic dispute escalated into an abduction incident in Manassas, leading to the arrest of 33-year-old Federico Dominguez. The incident occurred on May 12 at approximately 8:59 PM at a residence on Community Drive.

During the altercation, Dominguez reportedly engaged in a verbal dispute with a 31-year-old female family member, which escalated when he physically prevented her from leaving the room.

Additionally, he attempted to obstruct police officers from making contact with the victim. When authorities intervened to detain Dominguez, he resisted arrest but was ultimately detained without further incident.

Fortunately, no injuries were reported in the confrontation. Following the investigation, Dominguez was charged with abduction and obstruction of justice. He is currently held without bond, awaiting a court date to address the charges.
