Bowie Baltimore and Thurmont among jackpot hotspots after wave of six-figure winning tickets

BALTIMORE, Md. — Maryland Lottery players scored a wave of major prizes last week as scratch-off tickets delivered massive payouts across the state, including wins worth $250K, $200K and $100K.

Lottery officials said 29 tickets worth at least $10,000 were sold statewide between May 11 and May 17, while players across all games won more than $34.1 million during the week.

The biggest prize of the week was a $250,000 winning Money scratch-off ticket sold at a 7-Eleven located at 15700 Mount Oak Road in Bowie.

Another major winner claimed a $200,000 prize from a $5,000,000 LUXE scratch-off ticket sold at Weis Market in Thurmont.

In Baltimore City, a Silver Bell Bucks scratch-off ticket worth $100,000 was sold at Crestlyn Mart on Crestlyn Road.

Additional $50,000 scratch-off prizes were sold in Derwood and Silver Spring, while $30,000 winners were recorded in Baltimore and Frederick.

Two separate $20,000 prizes from $1,000,000 Crossword tickets were sold in Glenn Dale and Indian Head.

Lottery officials also reported multiple $10,000 scratch-off wins throughout Maryland, including tickets sold in Crisfield, Dundalk, Waldorf, Nottingham and Silver Spring.

FAST PLAY and draw games added to the winning streak, including a claimed $20,000 Mega Multiplier ticket sold in Baltimore and three separate $25,000 PICK 5 winners sold in Clinton, Gaithersburg and Rosedale.

RACETRAX players also cashed in across the state, with prizes ranging from more than $10,000 to over $20,000 sold in locations including Hanover, Silver Spring, Jessup, Columbia, Bel Air and Temple Hills.

Lottery officials reminded players to sign the backs of winning tickets and store them in a safe place until claimed.
