Meet Gucci: The Ball-Loving Pup Ready for Her Forever Home!

At Friends of Southern Ocean County Animal Shelter, we meet a lot of wonderful dogs, but Gucci is a standout star—especially when there’s a ball involved! This 4-year-old shepherd-lab mix takes her favorite game so seriously that she could play all day if given the chance. (No official World Cup invite yet, but we’re holding out hope!)

Beyond her athletic skills, Gucci is incredibly intelligent. She already knows several commands, is housebroken (she even rings a bell to let you know when she needs to go outside!), and is crate trained.

She would thrive in a home that can keep up with her active and playful personality. While she prefers to be the only dog (more attention for her, of course), she has lived with kids before and would love a family that matches her high-energy lifestyle.

Gucci has been waiting for her forever home—could it be with you? Come meet this brilliant girl at Southern Ocean County Animal Shelter, located at 20 Collinstown Rd., Barnegat, NJ. The shelter is open for adoptions every day from 1 PM to 4 PM.

Don’t wait—Gucci is ready to bring joy, energy, and a whole lot of fetch into your life!
