Police reported arrests involving crack cocaine distribution, methamphetamine, heroin, drunken driving, shoplifting and outstanding warrants from Sept. 7 through Sept. 13.
WALL TOWNSHIP, N.J. — A monthlong narcotics investigation led to five arrests as Wall Township police recorded a busy week involving drugs, suspected drunken driving, warrants and two juveniles accused of conspiring to commit burglary.
The Wall Township Police Department released its arrest blotter covering Sept. 7 through Sept. 13. All defendants are presumed innocent unless proven guilty in court.
Two DWI arrests reported Monday
Patrolman Joseph Liddy arrested Matthew Golebiewski, 24, of Park Ridge, for driving while intoxicated following a motor vehicle stop on State Highway 34 at 1:23 a.m. Sept. 7. Police processed Golebiewski and released him under John’s Law.
Later that day, Patrolman Danielle D’Ambrosio arrested Dominic Ciociola, 24, of Wall, following a DWI investigation on Jefferson Avenue at 6:28 p.m. Ciociola was also processed and released under John’s Law.
Patrolman Vincent Colucci traveled to the Red Bank Police Department and arrested Artis Edwards, 64, of Asbury, on a Wall Township warrant. Edwards was taken to the Monmouth County Correctional Institution.
Patrolman John Kelly arrested Kaien Jenkins, 47, of East Orange, on warrants issued by Bernards Township and Bernardsville after an investigation on State Highway 35. Both municipalities released Jenkins on his own recognizance.
Five charged after narcotics investigation
Patrolman James Yannazzone arrested five people Sept. 8 following a monthlong narcotics investigation.
Born Rush, 41, of Asbury Park, was charged with possession of cocaine and possession of drug paraphernalia. Police transported him to the Monmouth County Correctional Institution.
Tyreff Franklin, 41, of Tinton Falls, was charged with possession with intent to distribute crack cocaine, possession of crack cocaine, possession of cocaine and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was taken to the county jail.
Amanda Schneider, 33, of Manchester, was charged with possession with intent to distribute crack cocaine, possession of crack cocaine, possession of cocaine, tampering with or destroying evidence and possession of drug paraphernalia. She was transported to the county jail.
Joshua Reed, 43, of Asbury Park, faces the same five charges. Police processed Reed and released him on a summons.
Nicholas Shapiro, 33, of Freehold, was charged with possession with intent to distribute crack cocaine, possession of crack cocaine, possession of cocaine and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was taken to the Monmouth County Correctional Institution.
Police did not disclose where the arrests occurred or release information about the quantity of drugs allegedly recovered.
Shoplifting and heroin charges filed
D’Ambrosio arrested Taylor Thomasian, 32, of Belmar, after investigating an alleged shoplifting incident at ShopRite on State Highway 35. Thomasian was processed and released on a summons.
Patrolman Collin McCarthy arrested Jason Townley, 47, of Brick, during a motor vehicle stop on Asbury Road. Townley was charged with hindering, possession of heroin, possession of cocaine, possession of Suboxone and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Police transported Townley to the county jail.
Colucci arrested Gina Coleman, 33, of Long Branch, on a Monroe Township warrant following a motor vehicle stop on State Highway 18. Coleman was turned over to Monroe Township police.
Additional warrant and DWI arrests
Patrolman Julia Cutolo went to the Asbury Park Police Department on Sept. 9 and arrested Rebecca Lally, 46, of Neptune, on a Wall Township warrant. Lally was taken to the Monmouth County Correctional Institution.
The following morning, D’Ambrosio arrested Aimee Krukowski, 65, of Neptune, for DWI after investigating a motor vehicle crash on State Highway 138 at 8 a.m. Krukowski was processed and released under John’s Law.
Patrolman Daniel Grothues traveled to the Ocean County Correctional Institution on Sept. 11 and arrested Danee Carlson, 39, of Little Egg Harbor, on a Wall Township warrant. Carlson was transported to the Monmouth County jail.
McCarthy arrested Anthony Velasquez, 22, of Neptune, at Wall Township Police Headquarters on a township warrant. Velasquez posted bail and was released.
Patrolman Kyle Pelech arrested Ines Mangual, 21, of Asbury, on an Atlantic City warrant following an investigation at the Budget Inn on State Highway 35. Mangual was released after posting bail.
Woman charged with assault and resisting arrest
Colucci arrested Islas Maritza, 35, of Wall, following an investigation at the Express Inn near State Highways 33 and 34.
Police charged Maritza with aggravated assault, resisting arrest, hindering, obstruction and criminal mischief. Maritza was processed and turned over to the Monmouth County Sheriff’s Department, which operates the Monmouth County Correctional Institution.
Police did not release further information about the alleged assault or identify anyone who may have been injured.
Juveniles accused of planning burglary
Patrolmen Thomas Gavaghan and McCarthy arrested two 15-year-old boys from Neptune following a suspicious-person investigation on Quaker Street at 12:52 a.m. Sept. 13.
Both juveniles were charged with conspiracy to commit burglary, trespassing, obstruction and resisting arrest. They were processed and released to a guardian.
Later Sunday, Pelech arrested Tristan Napoli, 47, of Jackson, and Joan Alonzo-Calderon, 38, of East Windsor, during a motor vehicle stop on State Highway 138.
Both were charged with possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia. Alonzo-Calderon was released on a summons, while Napoli was taken to the Monmouth County Correctional Institution.
