Harrisburg homicide arrest made in North 18th Street killing

Harrisburg, PA – A homicide investigation that began inside a city residence last week reached a turning point Tuesday afternoon with the arrest of a suspect now charged in connection with a deadly incident on North 18th Street.

Tyler Norman was taken into custody Tuesday at approximately 4:30 p.m. and charged with criminal homicide and additional related offenses. The charges stem from his alleged involvement in a killing that occurred Wednesday morning in the first block of North 18th Street.

Officers were originally dispatched to the location around 11:00 a.m. after receiving a report of a deceased person. Upon arrival, an adult male was found inside a residence and pronounced dead at the scene. Investigators immediately launched a homicide investigation that continued over the following days.

Authorities have not released the identity of the victim or additional details about the circumstances surrounding the death as the case proceeds through the court system.
