Silver Spring Home Burglars Caught on Camera, Do You Know Them?

SILVER SPRING, MD – Montgomery County police are asking for the public’s help identifying two suspects believed to be responsible for a series of residential burglaries that unfolded across multiple neighborhoods over a six-day span.

The incidents occurred between Wednesday, December 31, and Tuesday, January 6, in the 6400 block of Wishbone Terrace and the 7800 block of Archbold Terrace, according to the Montgomery County Department of Police.

Investigators said the suspects forced entry into four separate homes, stole property, and fled before officers arrived. Surveillance footage from inside one of the residences captured images of the individuals, allowing detectives to obtain photos and a general description.

Police described the suspects as two dark-skinned males of unknown age, both wearing knit face masks at the time of the burglaries. Images released by police show the suspects inside a residence during one of the break-ins.

The cases are being handled by detectives from the department’s 2nd District Investigative Section, who said the burglaries appear to be connected based on timing, location, and method of entry.

Meanwhile, Wounded man appears at hospital after South Baltimore shooting.
