Middletown, NJ – Middletown Mayor Tony Perry has ordered flags across the township to be lowered in honor of Buffalo Township Fire Chief Corey Comperatore, who was tragically killed over the weekend while attending President Trump’s campaign rally.

Mayor Perry stated that the township stands united in grief and respects the ultimate sacrifice made by Chief Comperatore.

On Sunday, Virginia Governor Glenn Youngkin ordered flags flown at half staff in his state. No such declaration has been made in New Jersey by Governor Phil Murphy or Acting Governor Tahesha Way.
