Newark Police Request Publics Assistance in Identifying Burglary Suspects

NEWARK, N.J. — The Newark Police Department is seeking the public’s help in identifying three suspects involved in a residential burglary that occurred on August 8, 2024.

According to Newark Public Safety Director Fritz Fragé, the suspects—one female and two males—broke into a home located in the 400 block of Mt. Prospect Avenue at approximately 11:45 a.m. Surveillance video captured one of the male suspects drilling a hole into the front door lock to gain entry. Once inside, the suspects stole $1,000 in cash and several passports.

The Newark Police Department has released images of the suspects from the surveillance footage and is urging anyone with information regarding their identities to come forward.

If you have any information that could assist in identifying these individuals, please contact the Newark Police Division’s 24-hour Crime Stopper tip line at 1-877-NWK-TIPS (1-877-695-8477). All tips are confidential, and there may be a reward for information leading to an arrest.
