Newark police search for missing 17-year-old last seen on Hawthorne Avenue

NEWARK, NJ – Police are asking for the public’s help in finding 17-year-old David O. Clark, who was reported missing Sunday afternoon after being last seen in the 200 block of Hawthorne Avenue around 1 p.m., according to Newark Public Safety Director Emanuel Miranda Sr.

Clark is described as 5 feet 1 inch tall, weighing 115 pounds, with black hair worn in twists and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a black Carhartt jacket, black Nike sweatpants, black and red Jordan 3 sneakers, and a black ski mask. He was also carrying a black book bag when he was last spotted.

Authorities said Clark has been diagnosed with ADD and ODD and may be attempting to travel to Perth Amboy. The Newark Police Division continues to investigate all leads as the search expands to surrounding areas.
