Police are asking for the public's help identifying two suspects wanted in separate robberies that occurred days apart along Broadway in Upper Manhattan.

MANHATTAN, N.Y. – The NYPD is investigating two unrelated robberies that occurred along Broadway in Upper Manhattan and is asking the public to help identify the suspects.

The incidents took place on July 4 and July 12 near businesses and sidewalks along Broadway, with one involving an armed commercial robbery and the other an attack on a woman walking at night.

Gunman steals $2,000 from Broadway business

According to NYPD Crime Stoppers, the first robbery occurred at approximately 3:45 p.m. on July 4 inside a business at 6571 Broadway.

Investigators said an unidentified suspect pointed a firearm at a 32-year-old male store employee before taking approximately $2,000 from the cash register. The suspect fled southbound on Broadway using a bicycle.

Woman assaulted and robbed days later

In the second incident, police said a 56-year-old woman was walking opposite 6661 Broadway at approximately 10 p.m. on July 12 when an unidentified suspect approached her from behind.

Authorities said the suspect placed the woman in a chokehold, forcibly touched her chest, attempted to remove her clothing, struck her in the face, and stole her purse before fleeing on foot. Police have not released information on the victim’s injuries.
