PISCATAWAY, N.J. – Centennial Avenue has reopened following a motor vehicle crash that led to a temporary eastbound closure Saturday morning, according to Piscataway Township Police. The roadway was initially shut down between River Road and Kingsbridge Road as emergency crews responded to the scene.
Police first announced the closure around 10:00 a.m., advising drivers to avoid the area and seek alternate routes during the response. The incident caused traffic delays in the surrounding area as detours were put in place.
