CUMBERLAND, Md. — Authorities are offering a reward of up to $1,500 for information leading to the arrest of those responsible for the death of Todd Adams, whose body was discovered at a parking garage on Frederick Street in downtown Cumberland.
Adams, known locally as “Peg Leg” for his use of a prosthetic leg, was found deceased during the early hours of Sunday, Dec. 22, according to the Cumberland Police Department. Investigators have not disclosed the cause of death but are treating the case as suspicious.
The 50-year-old Adams was a familiar figure in the downtown area and was often seen walking through the city, police said in a public notice posted Wednesday. Authorities are urging anyone who may have seen or interacted with Adams on the night of Saturday, Dec. 21, to contact law enforcement with any information.
