Police Seek Suspect in Wheaton Armed Robbery

WHEATON, MD — Montgomery County Police are investigating an armed robbery that took place on Wednesday, May 1, in the 900 block of Loxford Terrace. Authorities have released video footage and photographs of the suspect, appealing to the public for help in identifying him.

The victim, a student returning home, was robbed at knife-point by the suspect who then stole his clothes. The suspect, described as a Black male aged between 15 and 18 years, about 6 feet 1 inch tall with a thin build, brown eyes, and black hair, was captured on a cellphone video fleeing the scene.

He was last seen wearing a grey Under Armour zip-up jacket, grey joggers, black shoes, carrying a dark blue backpack, and wearing a surgical mask.
