Winning Midday ticket sold in Queens
FRESH MEADOWS, N.Y. — A winning TAKE 5 ticket was sold in Queens after the Aug. 7 Midday drawing, sending one lucky ticket holder home with the game’s top prize.
The New York Lottery said the winning ticket was purchased at the 7-Eleven located at 168-01 Union Turnpike in Fresh Meadows.
The top-prize ticket is worth $19,287.50.
TAKE 5 drawings are held twice daily at 2:30 p.m. and 10:30 p.m., with players selecting numbers from a field of one through 39.
Lottery officials said prizes from New York Lottery draw games may be claimed for up to one year from the date of the drawing.
The New York Lottery continues to fund public education across the state through its proceeds.
