Fourteen tickets worth $10K or more hit across the Garden State

TRENTON, N.J. — Fourteen New Jersey Lottery players claimed prizes of at least $10,000 during the week of Aug. 3 through Aug. 9, including two jackpot-winning tickets worth a combined nearly $1 million and multiple six-figure Powerball prizes.

The week’s biggest winner claimed a $761,184 Jersey Cash 5 jackpot from a ticket sold at A Plus Sunoco on Chews Landing Road in Laurel Springs on Aug. 6.

Another Jersey Cash 5 jackpot worth $232,298 was won the following drawing on Aug. 9 with a ticket purchased at Walmart on Route 37 West in Toms River.

Powerball also produced several major winners during the week, including a $150,000 ticket sold at Emporium Cigar & Convenience in Toms River on Aug. 8.

Additional Powerball prizes included a $100,000 winning ticket sold through Lotto.com on Aug. 3 and three $50,000-winning tickets sold in Paramus, South Bound Brook and Rahway.

Scratch-off games and draw games also produced multiple five-figure winners across the state.

Among them were a $30,000 Big Money Spectacular prize in Freehold, a $30,000 Money Vault Bingo prize in Cape May, and several $10,000 prizes sold in Irvington, Orange, Edison and Hasbrouck Heights.
