Queens robbery spree suspect sought after five knife-point attacks across two precincts

A string of late-night and daytime robberies across Queens has left residents on edge after police detailed five incidents involving a suspect who used a knife while riding a two-wheeled vehicle. The attacks, reported over the span of eight days, targeted victims in Jackson Heights and Corona, with several individuals injured or robbed of personal belongings.

NEW YORK CITY, NY – Police are searching for a suspect linked to a pattern of robberies in the 115th and 108th precincts, where victims were approached on the street and threatened at knifepoint. The incidents, which began Sunday, March 22, escalated over the following week, culminating in a fifth reported robbery late Monday night, March 30.

“It was reported to police that on Sunday, March 22, 2026, at approximately 10:05 P.M., in front of 31-11 87 Street, a 35-year-old female victim was approached by an unidentified individual on a two-wheeled vehicle,” according to NYPD Crimestoppers. “The individual displayed a knife and removed the victim’s jewelry and approximately $800 dollars.”

Pattern of attacks across neighborhoods

The suspect is believed to have struck again on Saturday, March 28, in three separate incidents within the 115th Precinct, each involving similar methods. In one case, police said, “It was reported to police that on Saturday, March 28, 2026, at approximately 9:45 A.M., in front of 23-60 102 Street, a 34-year-old female victim was approached by an unidentified individual on a two-wheeled vehicle.”

During that encounter, “The individual displayed a knife and cut open the victim’s jacket. The victim sustained a laceration to her hand from the knife. The unidentified individual forcibly removed the victim’s purse and jacket and fled on the two-wheeled vehicle southbound on 102 Street,” the report states.

Later that same day, another victim was targeted. “It was reported to police that on Saturday, March 28, 2026, at approximately 9:30 P.M., in front of 34-64 110 Street, a 32-year-old male victim was approached by an unidentified individual on a two-wheeled vehicle,” according to the statement. “The individual displayed a knife and attempted to forcibly remove the victim’s property but was unsuccessful.”

Roughly two hours after that attempted robbery, a fourth incident occurred nearby. “It was reported to police that on Saturday, March 28, 2026, at approximately 11:20 P.M., in front of 104-43 38 Avenue, a 31-year-old female victim was approached by an unidentified individual on a two-wheeled vehicle,” police said. “The individual displayed a knife and grabbed the victim by her collar before removing her bag and a necklace.”

Final reported robbery in neighboring precinct

The most recent incident was reported Monday, March 30, in the 108th Precinct, extending the pattern beyond the initial cluster of attacks. “It was reported to police that on Monday, March 30, 2026, at approximately 11:30 P.M, at the intersection of 65 Street and 43 Avenue, a 52-year-old male victim was approached by an unidentified individual on a two-wheeled vehicle,” according to NYPD Crimestoppers. “The individual displayed a knife and forcibly removed the victim’s bag.”

Police have not released a description of the suspect but confirmed the incidents are believed to be connected. Investigators are urging anyone with information to contact authorities as the search continues.
