GLASTONBURY, Conn. — A winning PLAY4 ticket worth $15,000 was sold at a Glastonbury Stop & Shop, delivering a four-figure payout to a local lottery player, Connecticut Lottery officials confirmed Tuesday.

The winning ticket was purchased at Stop & Shop #631 in Glastonbury and matched the numbers required to secure the $15,000 prize.

Lottery officials did not release the name of the winner.

PLAY4 is a daily draw game in which players select a four-digit number for a chance to win cash prizes based on matching combinations.

The Connecticut Lottery has not announced whether the prize has been claimed. Winners typically have a set period to come forward and redeem tickets at authorized claim centers.
