York County convenience store sells $50K winning ticket in PA Lottery New Year’s raffle

MIDDLETOWN, PA — A Pennsylvania Lottery player in York County is holding a ticket worth $50,000 after a winning number was drawn in the latest weekly installment of the New Year’s Millionaire Raffle, with the lucky stub sold at a Loganville Borough convenience store.

Ticket number 00232336, purchased at Rutter’s on 362 North Main Street, was randomly selected from over 57,000 entries sold between December 2 and December 8 as part of the fifth weekly drawing. The New Year’s Millionaire Raffle includes eight weekly drawings awarding two $50,000 prizes each, all leading up to the grand prize draw on January 3.

The Pennsylvania Lottery confirmed that the $50,000 prize must be claimed in person at a Lottery office. It cannot be redeemed at retail locations or by mail. Players can check the status of their tickets through the official PA Lottery mobile app or at any authorized retailer.

This ticket remains valid for the upcoming January 3 Millionaire Raffle drawing, where it could still win again. The raffle’s final draw will award multiple prizes, including four $1 million top prizes.

Players are also reminded of ongoing efforts to encourage responsible gaming during the holiday season. The Lottery is participating in the National Council on Problem Gambling’s Gift Responsibly Campaign, warning that lottery products are not suitable gifts for children.
