Police believe Brayden Sampson may still be near Virtua Hospital
MARLTON, NJ — A search is underway for Brayden Sampson after police said he left Virtua Hospital-Marlton and may still be somewhere near the medical center, prompting an urgent request for the public to call 911 if he is spotted.
Evesham Township Police announced the search Tuesday afternoon.
Police said Sampson “eloped” from Virtua Hospital-Marlton, a term used when a patient leaves a healthcare facility without authorization or before being formally discharged.

Sampson was wearing blue hospital scrubs when he left, according to police.
Investigators said they believe he may still be in the area surrounding the hospital.
The department did not provide Sampson’s age, physical description or information about why he had been at the hospital.
