SALISBURY, MD – In the early hours of Wednesday, the Wicomico County Sheriff’s Office’s Criminal Investigation Division responded to a shooting report at a block party on Chippewa Boulevard, Salisbury.

Seven individuals were shot at the event, with a 14-year-old Salisbury male succumbing to his wounds after being taken to Tidal Health. The remaining six are being treated at Tidal Health, none of them believed to have life-threatening injuries.

The investigation remains active. The Wicomico County Sheriff’s Office requests anyone with information on this incident to contact them.
