PHILADELPHIA, PA – A man showed up at Pennsylvania Hospital with a gunshot wound early Thursday morning after a shooting on the 200 block of Willow Street in the 9th District, but investigators are still piecing together the details of what happened and where.

The incident occurred around 3:28 a.m., but police say the exact location and circumstances of the shooting remain unclear. The victim, whose identity has not been released, was driven to the hospital in a private vehicle, and his condition remains unknown.

Detectives have yet to determine a motive and have not made any arrests. The case has been assigned to the Shooting Investigation Group, which continues to work the case as they attempt to trace the sequence of events leading up to the shooting.

Just hours earlier in a separate case, a stabbing in the 22nd District sent another man to the hospital. That incident occurred around 10:29 p.m. Wednesday on the 20xx block of North Woodstock Street. The victim was taken by medics to Temple University Hospital, and details surrounding the altercation have not yet been released.
