Start Your Day with Toast City Diners

ASBURY PARK, NJ – if you haven’t seen them yet, Toast City Diners are now in Red Bank, Montclair and Asbury Park.  What started in Montclair, New Jersey, is quickly becoming a Jersey Shore favorite breakfast spot.  If you are new to Toast, definitely start in Asbury Park, just because it’s one of the most fun looking breakfast joints at the Jersey Shore.  If you’re a pancake person, here’s a secret…carrot cake pancakes to absolutely die for!

We’re doing these features each morning to help you broaden your horizons and support shore area businesses that are weathering the COVID-19 storm.  Toast in Asbury Park is also a great excuse to get out of the and (eat in your car of course) then walk the beach in the area when you’re done.  You can get some part of normal back into your life.  The decor makes you almost feel like you’re not even at the Jersey Shore anymore when you walk in.

When Toast first opened the doors of our Montclair, NJ location in May of 2007 their tag line was Peace, Love, & Pancakes.”

Don’t take our word for it, here are some Yelp! reviews about toast:

Patrick A. said, “This place is a cozy staple of Cookman Ave in Asbury Park.  It can get very crowded with longish waits in the summer and  weekends, but we weree seated right away this winter saturday morning. It got busy pretty quickly though. The decor and vibe are exactly what you’d expect here, cozy, casual, and as their description states, rustic, brick-walled.”

Sarah C. said, “Absolutely delicious. Fresh mozzarella, tomato and guacamole is a combo you can’t beat. Sweet potato fries were delicious as well. Our waiter was really nice and prompt without rushing us. There are so many good places to eat on Cookman and this is definitely one of them!”
