NEW YORK CITY, NY – A home invasion occurred on Monday, in Staten Island. Two individuals forcibly entered a residence near Hygeia Place and Boyd Street, assaulting a 23-year-old female victim and her son.

The woman was stabbed in the leg, and various personal items, including money and a cellphone, were taken.

The suspects, one male and one female, fled on foot. The victim is currently in stable condition at Richmond University Medical Center.
