Stolen car recovered in minutes: Manchester cops nab woman with help from OnStar

MANCHESTER TOWNSHIP, NJ — A stolen vehicle was swiftly recovered and a suspect arrested Friday after a car was taken from outside a convenience store while the owner was inside, Manchester Township Police said.

The theft occurred around 3:00 p.m. at the Corner Store on Ridgeway Road. Officers immediately responded, saturating the area and using OnStar tracking technology to locate the vehicle on Pine Street.

The Ocean County Sheriff’s Office Crime Scene Investigation Division assisted at the scene.
