Trenton, NJ – New Jersey is enjoying a stretch of picture-perfect early September weather, with mostly sunny skies and comfortable temperatures expected through midweek before chances of rain return heading into the weekend.

Tuesday will bring mostly sunny skies and a high near 75 degrees with a light east wind. Tonight, skies remain clear with temperatures dropping to around 53.

On Wednesday, conditions improve further, with plenty of sunshine and highs near 79. A calm morning will give way to a light southeast breeze by afternoon. Overnight, skies stay mostly clear with lows dipping to the mid-50s.

Thursday will be the warmest day of the week, with highs reaching near 82 under sunny skies. Winds from the south may gust up to 20 mph. Clouds return Thursday night with a 40% chance of showers.

Friday stays warm and mostly sunny, reaching the mid-80s. Another round of showers could develop Friday night before tapering off early Saturday.

The weekend will be a mix of sun and passing showers. Saturday sees highs in the low 80s with a 30% chance of afternoon rain. Sunday clears out again, bringing sunshine and highs near 76, with cooler air returning Sunday night.
