Police Respond to Late Night Incident in Boston
**Boston, MA** – Police officers assigned to the Auto Theft Unit responded to a situation involving late night revelers in various Boston neighborhoods on Friday. They received an Officer in Trouble call near 485 Canterbury Street, where they observed around 80 vehicles gathered.
As attendees began to leave, officers documented vehicle registrations using body worn cameras and addressed auto law violations. Their actions resulted in motor vehicle citation enforcement for all vehicles at the scene.
Subsequent investigations led to the issuance of 78 citations for “No Stopping/No Standing” violations to the vehicles’ registered owners. The ongoing investigation aims to continue enforcement and prevent similar events.
At approximately 11:20 PM that evening, officers from District B-3 and District E-13 attended the scene in response to the Officer in Trouble report. Three individuals, Alan Ridenour, 19, Mario Florian, 19, and Geraldo Colon, 21, were arrested. Additionally, officers recovered two firearms and two stolen vehicles linked to the incident.
