Teen stabbed in bronx by group, rushed to hospital — FDNY EMS Outside NYC Emergency Room

BRONX, NY – A 14-year-old boy was stabbed Thursday morning after a confrontation with three unidentified individuals near a busy Bronx intersection.

The incident occurred around 9 a.m. near East 163rd Street and Grand Concourse, police said.

The victim suffered a stab wound to the right side of his abdomen and was rushed to the hospital in stable condition.

Attack followed verbal dispute

According to police, the teenager was approached by three individuals before a verbal dispute broke out. During the confrontation, one of the suspects pulled a knife and stabbed the boy in the torso.

Suspects fled down Grand Concourse

After the attack, the suspects fled southbound on Grand Concourse, disappearing into the morning crowd. Officers canvassed the area and reviewed surveillance footage in an effort to identify those involved.

Victim expected to recover

Emergency Medical Services transported the injured teen to NYC Health + Hospitals/Harlem, where he was treated for a non-life-threatening wound. Police said the victim is expected to recover.

Investigation ongoing

The NYPD is asking anyone with information about the assault to contact Crime Stoppers. No arrests have been made, and the investigation remains active.
