PHILADELPHIA, PA – Another brazen home invasion targeting students at Temple University took place early Monday morning following the same pattern as a similar incident blocks away last Friday.
Police said this time, like the last, the students were woken up inside their off-campus apartment in the 1900 block of North 18th Street.
The suspects, matching the description of two suspects wanted for the November 11th home invasion, stole a 2022 black Mitsubishi Cross, a handgun, several iPhones, an iPad, Apple watches, and a Mac Book Pro before fleeing.
Victims reported one of the home invaders had an uzi style gun. The suspects woke one of the victims by tapping their gun on his forehead, police said. The gunmen forced two male occupants into a bathroom, where they robbed them at gunpoint.
Police are also searching for two suspects in a brazen early morning home invasion and robbery that took place last Friday at around 6 am. The two incidents appear to be related.

On Friday, November 11th, at 6:00 am, two unknown males entered a residence near Temple University on the 13xx block of North 15th Street as the victims were inside asleep.
“The suspects, both armed with handguns, rounded up the victims, forcing them down to the basement,” police said. “Once in the basement, the suspects searched each victim taking debit cards, credit cards, and cell phones.”
The suspects fled the scene in a 2015 silver Lincoln MKZ, which was parked on 15th Street at Seybert Street.
It is unknown at this time whether or not the suspects in last week’s home invasion were the same suspects in Monday’s home invasion. The suspects in both incidents were described as black males wearing dark clothing.
