Three Charged for Weekend Assaults in Stafford County

STAFFORD COUNTY, VA — The Stafford County Sheriff’s Office reported multiple assault incidents in their daily incident log for Sunday, highlighting a series of disturbances requiring law enforcement intervention.

On Friday at 8:22 AM, deputies responded to a disturbance at Noble Court where a female suspect reportedly used bear spray during a heated argument, resulting in felony injury charges for her use of a caustic agent, alongside disorderly conduct. She is currently held at Rappahannock Regional Jail with a bond set at $2,500.

Later that day, at Falmouth Beach around 3:48 PM, a verbal altercation escalated into a physical assault when two sisters misunderstood a comment and attacked another beachgoer. After attempting to escape by swimming across the river, both were apprehended by deputies. One sister faces assault and battery charges with a $1,000 bond, while the juvenile sister received a criminal complaint.

Another assault occurred on Saturday at 11:22 PM at a local Giant supermarket on Celebrate Virginia Parkway, involving an employee and her manager. The dispute led to the manager striking the employee with a shopping cart. The manager was charged with assault and battery and subsequently released by the magistrate.

These incidents underscore ongoing challenges with disturbances in the area, with local law enforcement taking decisive action to address and mitigate such conflicts.
