Time running out for unclaimed 0K lottery ticket in Bucks County

Winning $100K Pennsylvania Lottery ticket sold in Bucks County still unclaimed as expiration nears

MIDDLETOWN, PA — A Pennsylvania Lottery ticket worth $100,000 is just weeks away from expiring, and officials are urging players to check their New Year’s Millionaire Raffle tickets before the prize slips away for good.

The unclaimed ticket was sold at Weis Markets, located at 73 Old Dublin Pike in Doylestown Township, Bucks County, for the Saturday, January 4 drawing. The winning ticket number is 00399216. If not claimed by Sunday, January 4, 2026, the six-figure prize will expire.

Winners must file a claim with the Pennsylvania Lottery, either by mail or at one of the Lottery’s seven regional offices. All offices are open to the public from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on business days. While walk-ins are accepted, appointments are recommended. The PA Lottery’s headquarters in Middletown remains closed to the public.

Under Pennsylvania law, any lottery prize not claimed within one year of the drawing date is forfeited and returned to the Lottery Fund, which supports programs that benefit older residents across the state.

The New Year’s Millionaire Raffle is a popular limited-time game offering high-dollar prizes to randomly drawn ticket numbers. Unlike standard draw games, each ticket has a unique eight-digit number printed at the time of purchase. In this case, the prize remains unclaimed more than 10 months after the drawing.

While some states require winners to claim prizes within 90 or 180 days, Pennsylvania offers a full year to file. Still, unclaimed wins are not uncommon, particularly with games like the raffle that are drawn only once and don’t display results on future tickets.

The Lottery reminds all players to check old tickets carefully using retail scanners or the Lottery’s official app and to sign the back immediately for proof of ownership. For those in possession of the winning ticket, time is running out.
