Toms River, NJ – Toms River Recreation has announced a lineup of pickleball classes set to run across several months this year, offering residents ages 16 and older an opportunity to learn and play at Bey Lea Park Tennis Courts. The program includes multiple sessions scheduled between May and September.

The classes will take place on select dates in May, June, August, and September, including May 19, 21, 26, and 28; June 16, 18, 23, and 25; August 4, 6, 11, and 13; and September 1, 3, 8, and 10.
Evening sessions offered for participants

Each class date features two session options, running from 4:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. The program is designed for beginners and aims to introduce participants to the fundamentals of the sport.
Organizers say the classes are open to individuals ages 16 and up, with instruction focused on basic gameplay, rules, and techniques.

Participants can register online through the township’s CommunityPass system. The cost is listed at $60 per person per session.
