As of 7:52 a.m., a disabled tractor-trailer on I-78 eastbound at the ramp to Exit 29 (I-287/US 202/US 206) in Bedminster Township has caused the left lane to close, exacerbating congestion in the area.
The Garden State Parkway northbound is experiencing a 3.5-mile delay from the Colonia Service Area in Woodbridge Township to Exit 136 at Stiles Street in Cranford Township. All lanes remain open, with delays attributed to heavy traffic volume.
Further congestion is reported on the New Jersey Turnpike inner roadway northbound near Interchange 12 in Woodbridge Township, where a 2-mile delay is slowing drivers. Similar delays have been noted on the Turnpike’s Eastern Spur northbound between Newark and Kearny and the Western Spur southbound near Interchange 15W at I-280.
In North Jersey, drivers on I-80 eastbound between Wayne Township and Paterson face travel times of 10 to 15 minutes due to backups, while delays of 1.5 miles are being reported southbound on the Garden State Parkway in Saddle Brook Township near Exit 160.
Commuters should brace for delays of up to 15 minutes on NJ-18 northbound in East Brunswick Township and heavy traffic at the George Washington Bridge’s Lower Level in Fort Lee.
