Trucker brutally attacked by illegal immigrants jailed for 18 months for having pepper spray

A U.K. trucker who worried about being attacked as he delivered goods in France ordered a stun gun on the internet and received a free bottle of pepper spray with his purchase. Graeme McMurray, 40, from Scotland kept the items in his truck after being beaten by illegal immigrants in France.

On a routine search of his trucks, inspectors found the pepper spray and stun gun and was charged.

“He stated that nobody else had access to the items and that he bought them for personal protection having been attacked by migrants in Boulogne, France, in 2018 when his arm was broken,” the prosecutor said in court.

He was fired from his job for the incident.

“You pled guilty to possession of a pepper spray for your protection after you were assaulted by illegal immigrants during the course of your work,’ said Judge Lord Mullholland. “That is no excuse, you have only yourself to blame. Any cursory internet search would reveal these weapons are illegal.”
