Two separate shootings under investigation in Baltimore, police say

BALTIMORE — Police are investigating two separate shooting incidents that left two men injured on Saturday, October 26, in different parts of the city.

In the first incident, officers responded at approximately 1:10 p.m. to an area hospital after receiving a report of a walk-in shooting victim. Upon arrival, they discovered a 25-year-old man suffering from a gunshot wound that was described as non-life-threatening. Investigators determined that the shooting took place in the 200 block of North Eutaw Street, where a crime scene was identified. Central District detectives have assumed control of the investigation.

Later in the evening, at around 7:27 p.m., police responded to a shooting call near Liberty Heights Avenue and Gwynn Oak Avenue. Officers also received information about a separate walk-in victim at an area hospital. At the hospital, they located a 33-year-old man with a life-threatening gunshot wound, currently listed in critical condition. A preliminary investigation revealed that the shooting occurred in the 2400 block of West Belvedere Avenue. Detectives from the Northwest District are handling the investigation.
