Wall Township, NJ – Local officers made a series of arrests last week involving charges ranging from forgery and obstruction to multiple counts of driving while intoxicated, according to the Wall Township Police Department’s latest arrest blotter.
The arrests, spanning from October 27 through November 2, included several warrant apprehensions and traffic-related offenses across major highways in the area.
All defendants are presumed innocent unless proven guilty in court.

Multiple traffic stops lead to arrests
On Monday, officers arrested Catherine Savloff, 49, of Pennsylvania, on a Wall Township traffic warrant after she was taken into custody at the Cherry Hill Police Department. Later in the week, Patrolman Kevin Wagner arrested Kareem Jordan, 33, of Toms River, on a separate traffic warrant, and transported him to the Monmouth County Correctional Institution.
Highway investigations uncover additional charges
Thursday’s investigations led to the arrest of Carlos Reyes Ramirez, 22, of Lindenwood, for possession of false government documents, receiving stolen property, and forgery after a disabled vehicle stop on State Highway 18. Ramirez was released on a summons following processing.
DWI arrests and roadside incidents
Between Friday and Sunday, officers reported several incidents involving impaired driving. Patrolman Kevin Donegan arrested Pan Chenhui, 24, of Brooklyn, following a crash on State Highway 34. Later, officers charged Rebecca Holman, 45, of Neptune, with DWI and eluding after a traffic stop on Highway 18. Additional arrests included Mario Ruiz Sarmiento, 29, and Leonard Williams, 55, both charged with DWI in separate incidents early Sunday morning.
Assault and resisting arrest case reported
A confrontation Friday on Industrial Road led to the arrest of Kevin McEnough, 27, of Neptune, who faces charges of obstruction, hindering apprehension, resisting arrest, and aggravated assault on a police officer. McEnough was also wanted on an active traffic warrant and was transported to the county correctional facility.
Weapons and drug possession charges filed
Patrolman Kyle Pelech arrested Alvin Miller, 59, of Bridgeton, on outstanding warrants and new charges of crack cocaine possession and possession of a weapon for unlawful purpose during a suspicious person investigation on State Highway 35. Miller was taken to the Monmouth County Correctional Institution.
Shoplifting incident closes the week
The week concluded with the arrest of Michaela Riffert, 33, of Lakehurst, who was charged with shoplifting from the ShopRite on State Highway 35. She was processed and released on a summons.
Police remind public of due process
Wall Township Police reiterated that all defendants are presumed innocent unless proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law, as guaranteed by both the U.S. Constitution and New Jersey State Law.
