Why Does My Dog Do That?

January 13, 2015

MANAHAWKIN –   Bark Buster and home dog trainer Paul Pagano will be at the Ocean County Library’s Stafford branch 2 p.m. Saturday January 31st to explain why dogs behave the way they do and how we can better communicate with them.

Have you ever wondered why your dog follows you all over the house, barks at the mail man even though he sees him every day at the same time, or runs to the front door and barks or jumps on visitors?  Join us for an interesting and fun presentation called, “Why Does My Dog Do That?”

Pagano will discuss the basic motivations behind canine behavior so you can better understand your own dog, whether it be a five pound terrier or a one hundred and fifty pound mastiff.  Questions focused on understanding canine behavior will be happily addressed.

Please do not bring your dog to this program.

The Stafford branch is located at 129 N. Main St. in Manahawkin. This program is free and open to the public. Please register by calling the branch at (609)597-3381, online at www.theoceancountylibrary.org or in person. If you have any questions, call the library for specific information.
