Baltimore, MD — A 42-year-old woman arrived at a hospital with a gunshot wound Saturday evening, leaving investigators working to determine where the shooting took place and what led up to it.

Officers were called around 5:11 p.m. on April 11 after receiving a report of a walk-in shooting victim at a local hospital. Upon arrival, they located the woman suffering from a gunshot wound to the leg.

Police said the injury was not considered life-threatening.

Detectives from the Northeast District have launched an investigation and are working to identify the location of the shooting, which remains unknown.

No suspect information has been released as investigators continue to gather details.
