Deadly harbor dispute ends in arrest weeks after Baltimore killing

Baltimore, MD — A man accused in a fatal shooting along Key Highway has been taken into custody more than a week after a dispute turned deadly in the Central District.

Travion Lemon, 27, of Baltimore County, was arrested April 14 in connection with the killing of 40-year-old Brandon Long Sr., according to Baltimore Police.

The shooting occurred April 5 around 2:40 a.m. in the 200 block of Key Highway. Responding officers found Long unresponsive with a gunshot wound. Medics pronounced him dead at the scene.

Investigators said the shooting followed a dispute, though additional details about the circumstances have not been released.

Lemon was transported to the Central Booking Intake Facility, where he is expected to face charges including first-degree murder, assault, and handgun violations.

The case remains under investigation by homicide detectives.
