Woman Sought in Attack and Robbery in Philadelphia

PHILADELPHIA, PA — The Central Detective Division is requesting the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect involved in an attempted robbery last Monday morning.

The incident occurred at approximately 7:30 a.m. on the 1200 block of Filbert Street. A 31-year-old female was assaulted while walking, when an unknown white female suspect pulled her hair and demanded money. Fortunately, the victim managed to walk away unharmed, and no belongings were taken.

The suspect is described as a white female with long braided hair. The Central Detective Division has released a video clip of the incident and is urging anyone with information to come forward to help identify the suspect.
