Woman struck and killed while crossing street in Baltimore

BALTIMORE, MD — A 60-year-old woman has died after being struck by a vehicle Friday evening in Baltimore’s Eastern District, police confirmed.

The incident occurred on November 29 at approximately 6:55 p.m. in the 1900 block of Belair Road. Responding officers found the woman suffering from multiple injuries after being hit while attempting to cross the street.

Medics transported the victim to a nearby hospital, where she later succumbed to her injuries, according to authorities.

The driver of the vehicle remained at the scene and is cooperating with investigators. The Baltimore Police Department’s Accident Investigation Unit is handling the case.
