SAN MARCOS, CA – A teacher in San Marcos went on a tirade against white privilege and parents meddling in school affairs and it was all caught on video.
Alissa Piro, a high school teacher challenged parents to “come at me” if they wanted to criticized her remote learning classroom sessions. Piro said she is sick and tired of parents chiming in about education.
When asked about students forming a white student union, Piro flipped.
“We don’t need a white student union,” Piro said angrily. “You get everything.”
Come at me, bro!
“If your parent wants to talk to me about their profession and their opinion on their profession, I would love to hear that,” Piro said. “If your parent wants to come talk to me about how I’m not doing a good enough job in distanced learning, based on what you need as an individual, just dare them to come at me.”
“I am so sick to my stomach of parents trying to tell educators how to do their job,” she said.
