$2.3 million Jersey Cash 5 jackpot sold at New Jersey grocery store

The winning ticket was sold at an Essex County grocery store in Monday night’s drawing.

TRENTON, N.J. — A New Jersey Lottery player is holding a ticket worth $2,327,955 after matching all five numbers in Monday night’s Jersey Cash 5 drawing.

The winning numbers were 01, 06, 09, 22 and 30. The Bullseye was 09, and the XTRA multiplier was 02.

The jackpot-winning ticket was sold at Kings Food Market, 778 Morris Turnpike in Short Hills, Essex County. The retailer will receive a $2,000 bonus for selling the winning ticket.

In addition to the jackpot winner, 93 players matched four of the five numbers and the Bullseye to win $500 each. Twenty-four of those players also purchased the XTRA option, increasing their prizes to $1,000.

The Jersey Cash 5 jackpot has reset to $150,000 for the next drawing.
