Unarmed Security Guard Stabbed And Assaulted In D.C.

WASHINGTON, D.C. – An unarmed security guard was stabbed and assaulted early Sunday morning in Northeast, D.C. The D.C. Metro Police are asking for information to identify the suspect.

Shortly after 2:30 am, the victim, an unarmed security guard, was escorting the suspect off the property at the 1300 block of 2nd Street. After displaying a knife, the suspect stabbed and assaulted the victim. The suspect subsequently fled the scene. An ambulance took the victim to a local hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.
