NYPD Seeking Fugitives Wanted in Bushwick Murder Case

NEW YORK CITY, NY – The NYPD is requesting public assistance to locate three individuals connected to a homicide case in the 83rd Precinct, Brooklyn.

The incident took place on September 3, when police responded to a 911 call at 1525 Myrtle Avenue at 4:07 a.m. A 33-year-old male, later identified as Javier Sanchez, was found with a gunshot wound to the head. He was transported to NYC Health and Hospitals/Elmhurst, where he was pronounced dead.

The NYPD has identified the sought individuals as Gonzalo Martinez, a 23-year-old male approximately 5’6″ tall and 225 pounds, last seen in a blue t-shirt; Delamerced Ezequiel, a 29-year-old male approximately 5’6″ tall and 150 pounds, last seen in a black t-shirt and tan pants; and Sherlin Licurgo Espinoza, a 19-year-old female approximately 5’5″ tall and 165 pounds, last seen in a black hooded sweatshirt.

A 17-year-old male has been arrested and charged with murder, robbery, and criminal possession of a weapon in connection to the case.
