Baltimore Police Arrest Juvenile in Carjacking Case

BALTIMORE, MD – The Baltimore Police Department reported a successful arrest in a carjacking case on November 10, 2023. The Western District Action Team was on patrol in the area of McCulloh Street around 8:24 p.m. when they received a notification from a license plate reader (LPR) indicating the presence of a vehicle involved in a carjacking.

Upon locating the car, which was parked in the 1200 block of McCulloh Street, officers found it occupied by a male juvenile in the driver’s seat. The 14-year-old male juvenile was arrested and transported to Juvenile Booking.

This arrest underscores the effectiveness of the Baltimore Police Department’s use of technology in crime detection and prevention. The department continues its efforts to address carjacking incidents in the city and stresses the importance of community vigilance and cooperation in combating such crimes.
