WILMINGTON, DE – The Delaware State Police are investigating an armed robbery that took place on Tuesday night, at the Apollo Smoke Shop located at 3613 Kirkwood Highway in Wilmington.
At approximately 7:55 p.m., troopers were dispatched following a report of the robbery.
The investigation revealed that a white male suspect brandished a handgun at an employee, demanding the contents of the cash register.
The employee complied, and the suspect fled on foot eastbound towards Greenbank Road with an undisclosed amount of money. The suspect remains unidentified, and surveillance footage is yet to be released.
